Turning and milling

Turning is the mechanical process in which the raw material or the semi-finished part mounted on the lathe is turned quickly on its axis and scratched by fixed tools of various types. In this way it is possible to carry out operations of threading, knurling and displacement.

The milling instead, is the mechanical processing in which the original piece is fixed and the cutters are moving, which remove the excess material.

Both the lathe and the cutter are ancient instruments, first operated by hand, then motorized and now remotely controlled through special software.

Antoniana Minuterie is equipped with the latest generation presses able to perform the required processing in a short time and with maximum precision.
