Through the ultrasonic cleaning it is possible to clean the articles from the moulding wastes in particular at the edges, near the threadings and knurling, near the undercuts zones where there are oil and grease residues.
The ultrasonic cleaning works with the phenomenon of ultrasonic cavitation. In a liquid medium a special generator produces the ultrasonic waves that are compressed and depressed at a very high speed. During the depression phase, thousands of micro-bubbles appear, then during the compression phase the micro-bubbles implode with a huge energy release that strikes the surface of the articles, interacting physically and chemically. The phisical interaction with the article consists of the phenomenon of micro brushing, instead the chemical interaction consists of different cleaning effects depending on the type of chemical substance present in the liquid.
